Industrial Installation Electrician.

· Location: Ellesmere Port, with travel and overnight stays across the UK

· Salary: £39500 per year

· Overtime: x1.5 and x2 rates apply

Overtime is how you can achieve £52,000

· Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, on-call rota

Our client has been helping to shape the UK skyline for over 40 years, Established in 1982 they serve the UK construction industry, through 21 dedicated professional companies and divisions nationwide. This role is to join their expanding Water Technology Division

About the role

The role covers Monday to Friday 40 hours per week as well as being part of an on-call rota with the need to work overtime as and when required. There will be a requirement to work away during the week, attending JF Hunt locations around the UK including HS2.

The Industrial Installation Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, installing, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical pumping equipment. This includes working on 415 Volt 3 Phase Pumps installations between sites throughout the UK in a safe, professional and efficient manner.

Working away

There will be the need to work away from home attending sites across the UK. You will travel using a company vehicle and accommodation and meals catered for. (A long with out of pocket expenses) The frequency of working away and the duration of working away will vary but you will always be home for the weekend.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently carry out electrical installation work in accordance with BS7671 and Construction Industry Safety Regulations

Maintain, install, service, and repair electrical/mechanical pumps and Generator sets to legislative standards

Produce reports and estimates for equipment repair, advising on safety issues as necessary

Adhere to Risk Assessment/Method Statements

Communicate accurately with line managers, colleagues, and customers regarding job specifications

Undertake callouts as part of a rota

Complete any specific tasks detailed by the immediate line manager

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to installations at sites across the UK.

Qualifications:

· JIB Qualified Electrician

· 18th Edition (preferred)

· Possess 2391 Test and Inspect certification or working towards it

· Clean driving licence

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience in Electrical Engineering (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

· JIB Qualified Electrician (Mandatory)

· 18th Edition (Mandatory)

· (BS2391) Test and Inspect (Mandatory)

· Driving Licence (Mandatory)

Qualities:

· Time served with practical electrical and mechanical engineering skills

· ECS Gold Card or relevant qualifications for obtaining one

· Ability to accept responsibility for job completion
