Gas/Heating Engineer

Job Title: Full-Time Gas/Heating Engineer (Permanent)Location: Kinmel Bay, North WalesSalary: £21 per hour (Negotiable depending on experience)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM (40 hours/week)

Our Client, a well-established company based in Kinmel Bay, North Wales, looking to expand our team with a permanent, full-time Gas/Heating Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience with domestic boilers, fault finding, repairs, and gas safety checks, as well as supervisory skills. However, supervisory experience is not essential, and we are open to discussing training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing domestic boilers and central heating systems

• Fault finding and repairs on gas systems

• Conducting gas safety checks

• Putting together quotes for customers

• Responding to customer emails and inquiries

• Advising and assisting 2 other engineers

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Gas Safe registered (essential)

• LPG and oil qualifications (preferable, but not essential)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation

• Supervisory skills (preferable but not mandatory)

Benefits:

• Salary: £21 per hour (£43,680 per annum), negotiable depending on experience and skills

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM (standard 40-hour week)

• Based in Kinmel Bay, North Wales. We are ideally looking for someone local to the area, but this is not a strict requirement.
