This is a role that requires a flexible approach to work as there will be a requirement to learn and operate specialist machinery but along- side this you must be content in participating in the packing side of the business which is a critical part of the business.

You will likely start in a packing role however the long- term career expectation is to be a multi - skilled operative who can competently run the machines and take ownership on resolving technical problems.

This isn't a stereotypical factory / production role, this is a long term career opportunity.

Responsibilities:

- Packing light weight products, and palletising.

- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art machinery exclusive to the UK proficiently and safely to produce top-tier floor underlay materials.

- Engage in tasks such as manual handling, warehouse work, packing, and the processing of recycled materials.

- Comply with stringent time schedules, ensuring the smooth operation of the factory.

- Join their collaborative environment, sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues as required without being asked.

- Our client's factory operates on 12-hour shifts, alternating between nights (6pm - 6am Sunday to Thursday morning) and days (6am - 6pm Monday to Thursday).

The rate of pay is £12 per hour - Potential to earn between £29,952 - £31,200 per annum.

The pay rate rises to £12.50 an hour when permanent.

Daytime breaks are paid for when permanent.

Opportunity for overtime when available.

Expected hours: 48 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift

- Day shift

- Monday to Thursday

- Night shift

- No weekends

Ability to commute:

Reliably commute to Flint for both 6am and 6pm start times (required)

As working both days and nights is essential for this role, please only if you can 100% commit to working both days and nights

Experience:

Production / Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Picking & packing: 1 year (preferred)

Machine Operative: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
