Paint Sprayer / Prepper


Pay: £13.50-£14.34 per hour, however the rate of pay will be assessed following an interview, dependent on your previous experience.

Shifts: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm

Our client, a well-established and growing innovative automotive company that specialise in the design and manufacture of tipper bodies is seeking an Industrial Spray Painter to join their team.

Operating on their site just outside of Holywell, Flintshire, our client is consistently growing and looking to expand their team as they are now working with some of the world's well-known automotive brands.

Successful candidates will have previous experience with spray painting as they will be responsible for working individually and as a team to spray paint various industrial machinery to ensure a high-quality finish. You must be passionate about your work and must be able to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team. You will be required use a variety of tools to paint a range of different products and materials, adhering to procedures and requirements to meet company guidelines and ensure a high-quality finish.


Please note: This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate, transferring to perm after working 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • You must be able to work individually and as part of a team as the production process requires several stages.

  • To be able to inspect components which have been pre-prepared by other departments or colleagues, to ensure that they are fully prepared prior to painting.

  • Have a strong attention to detail and a significant amount of patience as our client has high standards and expects a high-quality finish.

  • Work efficiently to minimize the waste of raw materials and also maintain a clean and tidy working environment.

  • You may be responsible for priming products in addition to spray painting and applying the top coating to products.


Requirements

· You must have a minimum of 1-year experience in a spray painting.

· Previous experience of working to specific specifications and requirements is desirable.
