• Basic working hours: Mon – Fri -08:00-16:30

Overview;

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shot Blaster to join our leading European production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing steel tipper bodies and other structures for painting. Our client also provides training in new skills with further career development is possible.

Roles include;

• Be able to work safely and understand instructions given daily.

• Operate shotblast equipment to prepare metal surfaces.

• Inspect and prepare workpieces before and after blasting.

• Ensure components meet required surface finish and quality standards.

• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of blasting machinery and the booth.

• Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and actively promote safe working practices.

• Work closely with welders, painters and fitters of a wider production team.

• Support Painters as and when preparation of the components is required.

• Any other jobs that you have been trained to carry out

Skills & experience favourable;

Previous experience as a shot blaster, industrial cleaner or surface preparation.

Training is available for the right candidate.

Ability to work in a physical and demanding environment.

Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Full UK driving license (Required due to location)
