HGV Tipper prep and mounting fitter (No Qualifications required)

Location – Holywell, relocating to Deeside Industrial Estate in 2026

Employment Type – Full-time

Basic Working Hours – 0800-1630, Mon-Fri

Pay – £13.50 -£14.50 + overtime opportunities

Brief-

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working candidate to join our client’s manufacturing team as a fitter. The successful candidate will be working with a friendly team and responsible for working on HGV chassis and tipping bodies following manufacturer and DVSA guidelines.

Key responsibilities -

• Working on the latest brand-new HGV vehicles. (Scania, Volvo, DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes, Renault)

• Fitting and assembling world-leading hydraulic tipping gears. (Meiller, Edbro, Binotto, Harsh, Hyva)

• Automotive electrical work, such as warning signals within the cab.

• Use of power tools day to day, such as Mag-Drill, handheld drill, impact gun, grinder and basic tooling.

• Fitting components to HGV tipping bodies. With the use of tooling such as pneumatic rivet guns, impact guns, handheld drills and basic tooling.

• Follow worksheets to complete tasks.

• Mounting HGV tipping body onto the chassis

• Use of an overhead crane. (Training provided)

• Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and actively promote safe working practices.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised environment.

• Occasional off-site work supporting our service team.

Skills & experience favourable –

• Qualifications not required

• Previous experience with the use of tools.

• Ability to work in a physical and demanding environment.

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Full UK driving license (preferred)
