Plastics Sorter (Recycling Operative)
Location: Johnstown, LL14 6HA
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

Plastics Sorter – Join Our Client's Recycling Team
We are currently recruiting for a Plastics Sorter to join our clients busy plastic recycling facility based in Johnstown Vauxhall Industrial Estate
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role offering consistent hours and competitive pay at £12.21 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
Sorting plastic materials on a conveyor belt
Identifying and separating recyclable plastics by grade and type
Removing contaminants and non-recyclable materials
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following health & safety procedures at all times
Supporting general warehouse and recycling operations as required
Requirements:
Good attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods
Comfortable working in an industrial/factory environment
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work as part of a team
Previous experience in recycling, warehouse, or production is desirable but not essential

Working Environment:
This role involves working in a recycling plant environment. PPE will be provided. The role may involve noise, dust, and manual handling.
